Hand Building 5-Week Pottery Course
A creative clay experience suitable for all skill levels!
Thursday evenings: November 12th, 19th, 26th, December 3rd, 10th from 6:30 - 9pm

Location: Harold’s Cross
In this 5-week course, you will go through the basic techniques of hand-building including pinching, coiling, and slab building. These techniques will equip you to create unique pieces such as bowls, mugs, or other sculptural objects. Students will learn about glazing and the firing process.
At the end of the workshop, the works will be fired and available for pickup in the following 4 weeks. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some prior experience, this workshop will inspire your creativity and expand your skill set. Classes are limited to eight people allowing each student time and space to get creative!
Clay, tools and glazes are included. Maximum of 8 people in this course. Please be sure to bring along an apron or hand towel from home!
Additional Information
All students must be 18+ to register for classes.
6-8 people per class. Should a class not fill sufficiently, I may cancel or reschedule it one week prior to the first class session.
Do I need experience? No experience, no problem! This course is suitable for both beginners and those with some experience.
Getting Here: The studio is easily accessible by Dublin Bus routes serving Harold’s Cross including the 16, F1, F2, F3 buses. The exact studio address will be provided after booking.
Accessibility: There are unfortunately no options for wheelchair accessible classes at this time. There are two steps into the building entrance and classes are done at high tables.
Cancellation: No refunds will be given. Up to 5 days before class start date, you can transfer your space to someone else if you can no longer attend.
